About Us

One Week Chef School is lead by Chef Alexia Apostolidi.  Alexia has been awarded multiple times for her exceptional skills and recognized for her contribution to Greek Cuisine.  She was also a contestant of Top Chef and opened her first restaurant at the age of 25.  She grew the company to 4 restaurants and sold it when she returned to the US.  Within 2 years of being in the US, she won another award as a Chef and became a leader for 20 restaurants. 

Throughout her whole career, she always wanted to create a School to teach people how to cook and show them how easy it is to cook.  Her mission is to help 1 billion people to learn how to cook.  Chef Alexia considers her duty and obligation to help people that were once like her in college and clueless about how to cook and care for her self, weight, and health.  She knew a few recipes but not really how to cook and when she learned she committed on becoming the best, just to get her to the place to be able to teach.  She formed the One Week Chef Technique to teach others the skills of cooking One Week at a time. 

Alexia contributes 10% of her online school to No Kid Hungry and the James Beard Foundation Restaurant Relief.
